The following are the Terms and Conditions of voting membership in the Software Underground.
You agree to read and abide by the Code of Conduct.
You understand and support our mission and our purposes as an organization.
You agree to the Software Underground storing your personal contact details to the extent necessary to keep in touch with you about membership-related activities. We strive to comply with the Privacy Act and the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act of Canada (read more about privacy law in Canada).
Terms and Conditions of participation
These are the Terms and Conditions of participating in a Software Underground event.
You agree to read and abide by the Code of Conduct.
Software Underground and its partners make no claim over intellectual property generated during its events. Unless you state otherwise, we assume that your work belongs equally to you and the other members of your team. We recommend talking to your team-mates about ownership and licensing before the event begins.
You acknowledge that your contributions do not violate the intellectual or industrial property rights of others, and take full responsibility for respecting such rights in accordance with the law.
By taking part in the event, you agree to abide by any and all rules pertaining to the event, as published on the event page. Software Underground event organizers reserve the right to change the rules before the event starts, and are the sole arbiter of rule interpretation should disputes arise.
By taking part in the event, you agree to allow Software Underground to include mention of your participation in the event, and for your likeness and/or your work to appear in screenshots, photos, and video of the event.
