The 2nd Geothermal Hackathon — right after the Geoscience Week (well, 2 days) of the World Geothermal Congress 2021. Like last year, this is a virtual event.

Join us for 2 days of social coding, on the theme of subsurface + geothermal energy. You can interpret that however you like — algorithms, data, visualizations, web apps. Bring a project of your own, or find others to collaborate with.

This event is for beginners as well as more experienced programmers. We can help you get started with tech stuff, including making code contributions — and there's always plenty of other things to do besides code. You can give science advice, test software, find data, make presentation material... you won't be bored.

This is not a competitive event, there are no prizes. However, you will be able to order a free T-shirt.
