Jørgen: oneseismic is my latest project - ask me anything!

oneseismic is a next-generation system for simple and powerful seismic queries. Too long have we been held down by the chains of SEG-Y, oppressed by proprietary databases.

This will be a demo of some of the powers & promises of oneseismic, and maybe some on the difficulties and design decisions in making a massive distributed system, followed by an AMA, ask-me-anything, session.

True to the format I'm open to all kinds of questions (i.e. oneseismic unrelated questions are welcome). Questions can be posted in advance in the #rdv-oneseismic channel on swung, so pop by!

To attend the event:

Join the #rdv-oneseismic channel on the software underground slack.

More information, pre-event discussion and jitsi meeting links will be posted in that channel. Please mark the time/day in your calendar.

If you are not yet on the Software Underground slack you can join here - it’s open and free.
