Call for proposals

Amazon AWS generously donated USD 25,000 in credits for the Software Underground to use for hackathons, events, and its technology needs in 2020 and 2021.

We’re seeking proposals from the community for grants from this funding source. Do you have an idea for a new app, a database, a service, an educational resource, course or activity in the cloud…? If the topic is ‘subsurface’ and the purpose is to serve our community, then we’d like to hear from you!

Please submit a proposal, we are open to proposals at any time, but we would like to encourage a first wave by the end of December 2020. We’ll aim to get answers to people and projects started in January.
